  1. I am looking for info on outdoor wood fires saunas and am finding info pretty scant. We fell in love with the idea of a barrel sauna, but having read your article, am no longer confident it would be a good investment. We are in upstate NY, and are not rich people. A sauna purchase for us needs to last many many years. Can you help point me towards info to help us make a good purchase decision? Not opposed to a cabin style building, if it can fit into our normal-person budget.
