I am designing my new sauna, and won’t complete it until I’m finished reading the Sauna Build Book! So many things to think about, for example, insurance with a wood burning sauna! I would have never thought about this if I didn’t purchase the Sauna Build Book. Money well spent on a great guild!
Very through book on all aspects of the sauna build. Some areas of the project scope could have been more detailed. But then again, additional research is what DIY’ers should do for themselves.
Glen’s book helped us achieve a dream of a wood fired sauna at our BC cabin.
A good friend of ours did the building but all of the ideas and techniques came from Glens book.
Some of the things you never would have thought of become an aha moment. As an example, the width of the top bench. I never would have built it that wide, but laying on it now I know why.
