Sauna is our time.

In a world of structure, rules, and regulations:

  • – Pick up the kid from practice at 6:05 – Don’t be late!
  • – Password must be at least 6 characters and contain at least one number, one upper case and one lower case letter.
  • – Always put a cover sheet on your TPS report.

It’s nice to know there’s a place of no rules.

When we open the door to sauna without rules (besides drink plenty of water and close the door!) we put the busy, noisy world behind us and enjoy sweat therapy free from demands.

The metaphor is personified:

Want to prop open the hot room door after sauna?  Stick a sandal in it.

Need a door handle that works?  Screw one together until a really cool one presents itself – if ever.

Sauna is OUR time.

and nobody tells us what to do.

  1. For inexpensive door handles I found some cheap cement trowels at a discount store. The handles are all wood and look perfect on the sauna door! Cheers!

  2. well said, glenn! i was on family vacation last week and drove back on saturday. home about ten minutes before i fired up the sauna. no one else was interested but i sure was. nothing takes away the stress and aches of a 12 hour car ride like three rounds in the backyard.
