This former shed sits by the shores of Lake Superior North of Duluth, MN. Like my father, its owner is not a handy man. But like my father, he is a man of passion, generosity, and appreciation of great art. I had the pleasure of turning this empty drab canvas into the most fantastic sauna I’ve yet to experience.  Yes, a subjective self plug, but converting this shed into an authentic Finnish sauna hits on more important levels, and here is my Seth Godin inspired advice:
- Make something good happen. Find your passion, do it well and often. Journey not destination.
- Surround yourself with people who matter. Open your senses to who around you matters, stay away from those that don’t.
