Wim Hof holds 26 world records, including a world record for longest ice bath. Wim describes his ability to withstand extreme cold temperatures as being able to “turn his own thermostat up” through breathing exercises.
Finlanders jump through holes cut through the ice with no more emotion than Americans collecting their lunch at the McDonalds drive through window. Some even swim around leisurely in the ice cold water. But 91% of Americans think jumping into a freezing lake is absolute insanity. Helpful advice to improve your sauna build.
Sauna plans need not be laid out like expensive house plans. The casual sauna builder can draw them up by themself. A good place to start is an empty piece of graph paper, a favorite drink and or some medicinal libation, then a quick read on divine proportion and the golden ratio.
Friday afternoon is a time we all collectively exhale. Those of us worker bees can finally close down our laptops and enjoy a little “me time.”
